According to science, before the Big Bang the universe existed as a singularity, a point of infinite density and temperature, and then underwent a period of rapid expansion called inflation, stretching a small region of space into the vast universe we see today. The simple explanation of The Big Bang is that it is a physical theory that describes how the universe expanded from an initial state of high density and temperature. This was initially proposed by Belgian cosmologist and Catholic priest Georges Lemaître in 1927.

Luke Jamieson: “Here is my two cents: Space and time were created by something outside of space and time. The answer to the question “what created God” is that nothing created God and God had no beginning because he is outside of time. It’s impossible for us to comprehend similar to the way we can’t imagine other dimensions. People don’t usually address the fact that time was created as well as matter. And that whatever created time is obviously not bound by it.”
