Who was Dolores Canon? 🔮

 

Dolores Cannon worked as a hypnotherapist for almost 50 years. She started out to help people overcome addictions such as smoking and weight control. Her career led her down an unexpected path where she delved into the subconscious mind, specializing in past life regression. This included people recalling things that are hard to comprehend like past lives and reincarnation.

While in Texas in 1969, a doctor asked her to help a patient who had an eating disorder with her hypnosis techniques. Under hypnosis, the patient started talking about a previous life as a flapper (a stylish subculture of young Western women in the 1920s) in Chicago during the 1920s. In the following months, she used hypnosis to regress the patient through five previous lives. She continued to develop and refine her own unique method of hypnosis known as Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT).

Through thousands of hypnosis sessions, she claimed to have uncovered information about reincarnation, the purpose of life and what happens after we die. Dolores’s way of explaining her hypnotherapy and past-life regression methodologies, along with the details that she would obtain from clients, help bridge understanding and/or open people’s minds to these phenomena. Details included that we inhabit our bodies to experience this reality for soul growth (learning lessons) and experiences (enjoying what life has to offer). She found that people said that living on Earth is one of the hardest experiences we choose, but it gives greater soul growth as a result and this links with Near Death Experiences where people have said the same thing.

1. Past Lives
Cannon believed that humans have lived many past lives, sometimes as different genders, races, or even non-human entities.
Through her Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT), she claimed clients could access the Subconscious (Higher Self), revealing past lives and the lessons learned from them.
She described Earth as a school where souls undergo multiple incarnations to grow spiritually.
Some past lives are not on Earth, and she reported cases of people remembering lives on other planets or as beings from other dimensions.
2. Soul Contracts
She believed that before being born, souls make agreements (soul contracts) to experience specific challenges, relationships, and events that will help them evolve.
These contracts are made in the Spirit Realm with the guidance of higher beings.
People choose their families, friends, and even hardships based on what they need to learn in this lifetime.
Even difficult relationships (e.g. with abusive partners or toxic people) might be part of a karmic lesson or an opportunity for growth.
3. Life After Death
Cannon’s research suggested that after death, the soul transitions to a review phase, where it evaluates the life it just lived.
Souls do not face punishment but instead analyze what they learned and what they could have done differently.
Some souls reincarnate quickly, while others spend time in the spirit world before choosing their next life.
There are different levels of existence beyond Earth, where advanced souls can evolve without needing physical reincarnation.
She also spoke of the “New Earth,” where spiritually evolved souls would transition to a higher frequency version of Earth.

Children that Remember Past Lives 🧒

 

Dolores Cannon’s work links with children who remember past lives and recall profound, detailed facts that get proven correct and would be impossible for them to know otherwise. This includes a story of a child in Syria that recalled being murdered in his previous life and then got the murderer convicted for the crime (as the murderer was still alive), providing evidence that nobody had found beforehand (the first video below). Some believe that birthmarks are remains of wounds from previous lives.

In addition, some claim to recall meeting passed friends on their death and choosing the next parents for their next life. The second video below discusses this, with a man that describing pre-birth experiences, including seeing where his parents conceived him (details of the room such as colors and location)!
